Biography
Dr. Hoyong Choi earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2016. He enjoys all aspects of family dentistry, with special interests in dental implants and advanced restorative care.
Dr. Choi currently serves as a faculty member at the GIA Implant Institute, where he helps train and mentor fellow dentists in implant dentistry.
Dentistry has been a passion of Dr. Choi's since elementary school, and he feels privileged to serve his community through compassionate, patient-centered care. His philosophy is simple: always do what is best for his patients while providing the highest quality treatment possible.
Outside of the office, Dr. Choi enjoys reading, playing golf, and surfing with his wife, Dr. Huh.

Biography
Dr. Ustina Huh's path to dentistry was an unexpected one. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian because of her love for animals and never imagined becoming a dentist due to her own fear of dental visits. Everything changed when she shadowed a compassionate dentist who showed her the profound impact that thoughtful, patient-centered care can have on people's lives.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Huh moved to Los Angeles and spent most of her teenage years in Canada, where her parents instilled the values of lifelong learning, hard work, and helping others. Before dental school, she worked in chemistry, cardiovascular, and cancer research laboratories and co-authored a publication on metal catalyst research. She was drawn to dentistry because it allowed her to combine her passions for science, artistry, and hands-on problem solving.
Today, Dr. Huh enjoys all aspects of family and general dentistry and is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy smiles for life. Having overcome her own dental anxiety, she understands the importance of creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel heard and cared for. Her favorite part of dentistry is building lasting relationships with patients and learning their unique stories.
At Del Amo Dental Group, Dr. Huh is proud to practice alongside her husband, Dr. Choi, serving generations of families in the community. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending time at the beach, surfing, and learning to golf.
